We were riding near the Lambert Park Pavilion mid-June when Lou noticed a big, unused field. How does Alpine not have a pump track yet?

What is a pump track?
A pump track is a looping bike track made of rollers, berms, and turns. Typically alongside a dirt pump track is a series of other "jump" tracks as well for more advanced riders. It's a safe place to practice handling and jumping skills.
A natural fit for our nook in the mountains.

Where would the pump track be?+
The proposed location is an unused city-owned plot near Alpine's mountain bike trails. A map or location details can be added once confirmed.
Who would use it?+
Kids, families, beginner riders, mountain bikers, BMX riders, and possibly scooters or skateboards depending on final design.
What are we asking Alpine City to do?+
We are asking the city to have staff, the Trails Committee, or the appropriate department evaluate the location and consider placing the idea on a future agenda.
